 You might not know it, but Pikes Peak Mental Health has a program to bring in musicians to help heal their patients. One of our regulars organizes house concerts around the date over at PPMH which make the therapy at PPMH possible. CFAM
Time for the 6th Season of the "Gettin' Down Downtown Summer Concert Series" at America the Beautiful Park.
Every Wednesday evening, throughout the summer, there will be a Free Summer Concert AND outdoor Farm and Art Market, featured by “CFAM” - sponsored by Classic Companies and the Nor-Wood Development Group.
The market runs from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and the concerts are held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at America the Beautiful Park located at 126 Cimino Drive just south of Colorado Avenue between Cascade and the Interstate.
The shows begin this Wednesday, June 6th, as they kick off our summer season with the Springs Contemporary Jazz Big Band featuring special guest, trumpeter Bobby Shew.

 So.. did any of you catch the Weekend Edition Saturday show earlier this month. How cool was it that BIG stars are coming out saying that they love the feel of the house concerts SO MUCH that they're trying to recreate the "home concert" feeling in major concert venues across the country?
